Project Description

Summary:  View help for Summary This is a survey with an embedded experiment focused on U.S. attitudes about immigrant social integration and political participation. The survey includes a number of variables measuring individual-level political, psychological and sociodemographic characteristics. It is also includes seven experimental conditions consisting of news photographs of nonviolent political protests and brief textual descriptions indicating different permutations of religious and linguistic cues. The survey was administered in September 2021 to a matched sample (N=1,800) from a panel of U.S. adults 18 years of age and older. The data were collected by YouGov.
