Project Description

Summary:  View help for Summary The data provides information on the availability of television signal during the US Television rollout. Specifically, it includes data on the number of TV channels in US mainland MSAs between 1948 and 1960 and decadal Commuting Zone level data on TV access between 1930 and 1970. It also includes information on the signal of stations that were meant to launch but were held back by FCC rollout restrictions.
