Project Description

The code primarily generates the SCC for the Analytic Climate Economy (ACE) in the accompanying publication and permits the user to evaluate alternative scenarios and to explore the different calibration approaches discussed in the paper (as well as others). It also provides code underlying the Figures in the manuscript. ACE is an analytic integrated assessment model of climate change combining a general economic model with a standard carbon cycle or impulse response model for carbon flows, the usual radiative forcing equation of economic IAMs (greenhouse effect), and a novel ocean-atmosphere temperature system that permits an analytic solution. The code evaluates the formulas derived in the manuscript for ACE-DICE and ACE-Joos.
