The Alliance of Digital Humanities Organizations (ADHO) is a digital
humanities umbrella organization that coordinates the activities of several regional DH
organizations worldwide. ADHO hosts the Digital Humanities Conference, the premier conference for
digital humanists, which began in 1990. Data included in this dataset come from abstracts of full-length ADHO conference papers from 1990 to 2020. ADHO conference proceeding abstracts are available online. Data in this dataset center on papers published in English and report the number of authors per paper, methodologies, data sources, and topics over time. Aside from the raw dataset, this resource contains a data brief summarizing findings and two CSV files that contain curated data for use by DH scholars.
