We conducted an online randomized controlled survey experiment using Prolific.com respondents. The experiment tested the Bad News Game (Roozenbeek & van der Linden 2019, https://doi.org/10.1057/s41599-019-0279-9 ) vs a proper attention control, the Implicit Attitudes Test. Outcomes are users' reliability judgments for eight Tweets. Data available here provide ability to replicate our analyses.
