Summary:  View help for Summary The study 'State of Forgiveness - Cooperation, Concilliation and State Capacity in Mughal South Asia (1556-1707)' is an examination of the state building practices of the Mughal empire in the 16th and 17th century. This research examines rebel forgiveness patterns in the Mughal empire to better understand the role of intermediary actors in the state building process. The files stored here contain the data, analysis, methods and sources which were used in the article.
