Project Description

Summary:  View help for Summary This study examines the role of psychosocial factors in adherence to physical distancing. Adherence was assessed through the rate of non-work, non-household contacts. Two cohorts were studied: adults with children and adults at least 50 years old.

Methodology

Response Rate:  View help for Response Rate Cohort 1: 2400 screened, 1105 consented, 997 completed enrollment survey, 996 provided info on contacts
Cohort 2: 1000 invited, 358 consented, 339 completed enrollment survey, 338 provided info on contacts
Sampling:  View help for Sampling Cohort 1: Convenience sample recruited through social media.
Cohort 2: Invited via email from an existing research registry for Parkinson's disease research.
Collection Mode(s):  View help for Collection Mode(s) telephone interview; web-based survey
Scales:  View help for Scales Published scales/tools: CD-RISC2, CCRAM, Kessler-6, EQ-5D with VAS.
Several Likert-type scales were also used.
