Folder Description

Summary:  View help for Summary This dataset includes data from the third wave, conducted in Spring 2010. The survey included longitudinal questions about belief in climate change. Results are based on responses from 712 adult residents of the United States collected between March 22, 2010 – April 9, 2010.

  • 8/18/2017: A few values of demog_state_region were recoded. The weight factor variables GenWeight, RaceWeight, AgeWeight, EdWeight, and IncWeight were dropped from the dataset.

Methodology

Sampling:  View help for Sampling Both the landline and cell phone samples were provided by the Marketing Systems Group (MSG), Horsham, Pennsylvania. Both landline and cell phones were chosen randomly from sampling frames of United States landline and cell numbers provided by MSG.

Weights:  View help for Weights The sample data has been weighted by age, race, educational attainment, income and gender to reflect population parameters for these factors provided by the United States Census Bureau.
