View help for Summary
Experimental study with four groups. The 1st group (ORD) refers to the control group in which participants were asked to think about an ordinary event from their past. The 2nd group (ERT) refers to the event reflective task in which participants had to think about general nostalgia. The 3rd group (ResN) refers to restorative nostalgia, and the 4th group (RefN) refers to reflective nostalgia. Participants (above 18 years old, semi-representative sample based on American census, N = 645) were randomly assigned to experimental conditions, and then their willingness to support a particular political leader was measured. This is part of the dataset that aligns with a publication currently under preparation.
