Summary:  View help for Summary The data-set contains bibliographic quality indicators for all patents in England granted in period 1700-1850. The quality indicators are based on the visibility of each individual patent both in the co-eval engineering and legal literature and in modern reference text on the history of science and technology and in specialized biographical dictionaries.
