Summary:  View help for Summary
The Fall 2011 NSEE included longitudinal questions about belief in climate change, plus additional content related to policy options to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and more.

The results are based on a telephone survey of 887 adult (age 18 or older) residents of the United States between December 4 and December 21, 2011. Respondents were interviewed in English on both landlines and cell phones by the staff of the Muhlenberg College Institute of Public Opinion (MCIPO) in Allentown, Pennsylvania on the Institute’s Computer Aided Telephone Interviewing (CATI) system.

The sample of phone numbers used in the survey was generated by Genesys Sampling Systems of Ft. Washington, PA. In order to reach a representative sample of adult Americans both landlines and cell phones are called up to 10 times.
