Folder Description

Summary:  View help for Summary This dataset includes data from the fourth wave, conducted in Fall 2010. The survey included longitudinal questions about belief in climate change, plus additional content related to support for state and/or federal policies to address climate change, willingness to pay for emissions reductions, and more. Results are based on responses from 916 adult residents of the United States collected between November 15, 2010 – December 18, 2010. The margin of error for the survey is ±3.2% at a 95% level of confidence.

Interviews were conducted by the Muhlenberg College Institute of Public Opinion in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The Fall 2010 survey instrument was designed by Barry Rabe of the University of Michigan and Christopher Borick of Muhlenberg College. The Fall 2010 survey was funded by the Muhlenberg College Institute of Public Opinion.

  • 8/18/2017: A few values of demog_state_region were recoded. The weight factor variables GenWeight and RaceWeight were dropped from the dataset.
