About the FACTS Repository

The FACTS consortium was funded as part of a 2017 NICHD effort to increase research on child injury prevention. The consortium seeks to engage multidisciplinary research experts across the U.S. to catalyze the science of child firearm injury prevention. Further information about the consortium and access to data is available on the FACTS website.

This repository archives and disseminates data to further the FACTS consortium's mission of improving access to firearm data. Data sets published here have been selected by the FACTS consortium. If you have questions about whether you should share your data with the consortium, please contact facts-team@umich.edu.

ICPSR does not alter datasets deposited in FACTS in any way or review submissions for disclosure risk. Investigators submitting data to ICPSR are entirely responsible for ensuring the confidentiality of research subjects. The presence of identifiable or sensitive information must be indicated during the submission process.
